When the trails are wet, this is an easy walk to get your steps in – you must like dogs! This is their place, so you will see all the dogs on the island at some point, and sometimes horses and carriages. It takes you by the boat house, the cobblestone bridge, and lots of lily pads. (NO bikes)
I walk the loop around Little Long Pond and see the boat house several times a week, and just realized I didn’t have any pictures of it… crazy, right? So, I hauled the camera over there, and got two pictures with very different moods – within 30 minutes. I also got a pretty cool spider picture.

PARKING
The best access point is along the road in Seal Harbor along route 3. There is limited parking (do not block the gate), and if there is no room, then there is another parking area just to the west of the pond. If you are only interested in getting a picture of the bridge, then park at Jordan Pond House (it’s very crowded!), and walk in on the carriage road.
