Many years ago, my husband gave me a camera, and my love of photography began. But that is not enough. It took countless hours looking through the lens, mastering the latest equipment. Then, further training to perfect my post-processing skills to enhance and perfect the images. Now you will find me, with a camera slung over my shoulder, ready to capture the moment, whether it’s surfers at the beach, sporting dogs, or the full moon rising over the water.
Dog Gone Photo grew from my mother’s love of her dogs. She is a member of the Tallahassee HRC (Hunting and Retrieving Club), and if I want to spend time with her, I need to do it in the field. As fun as throwing ducks can be, my strength is behind the camera as the dogs return to the line. I love my new friends who are now clients.
Jupiter
I’ll be here through spring, preparing for a small, family wedding in the backyard.
Much of my time is on the road, either traveling or at our place in Maine, but Jupiter is home. Joe and I live on the Loxahatchee River with three grown children, who come and go, and a lazy, dog-gone boxer named Jessie, who doesn’t know the first thing about retrieving ducks.
